Where can I get help or ask questions about advocacy?
There are experienced advocates available at information table at the ARTS Day Pavilion from 8:00 - 11:00 AM ready to help you and answer questions.
What if my legislator isn't there?
Legislator's schedules can be unprodictable and they may get called away to a committee meeting or other important matter. Try to reschedule for later in the day. If that is not possible, leave the handout with their assistant with your contact information. You can also try waiting outside the committee room for them to finish their meeting and offer to walk with them to talk.
Can I give my legislator a button?
We encourage you to give your buttons to your legislators. If you do, you can get a new one at the information table at the ARTS Day Pavilion.
Where can I get more handouts?
If you have appointments with more than one legislator, you can get extra handouts at the information table at the ARTS Day Pavilion.
Where do I go for lunch?
Lunches will be handed out at the ARTS Day Pavilion beginning at 11:00am. You will need the lunch ticket that you received with your nametag. Then feel free to eat your lunch at the tables and enjoy the musical performances.
