Teaching Artists Jeannette Brossart and Maria Geary invite you to explore our deep connection to color. How does a specific color make you feel? Is it connected to memory? Do you experience color via senses other than sight? With a few options for you to participate, both personal and collaborative, join us in this creative art activity.

Options

1. Select a 1 inch paper square, color of your choosing and write or draw a word or small doodle which describes your connection. Please bring your “inchie” to the artist’s table in the back of the conference hall to be a part of the mosaic style collaborative work.
2. Use the paper journal to expand your creative writing or drawing to a larger expression based on the theme of color and how it makes us feel or a memory. This is yours to take home.
3. Record a sound file on your phone that conveys your thoughts or ideas about a color or a feeling. You can upload it using the link below or text to 919-812-0788, and it will be played at the artist’s table in the back of the conference hall as part of the collaborative work.
