Hotel Information
We are happy to have two hotels for our ARTS Day participants to choose from.
The Longleaf Hotel
Stay at the historic Longleaf Hotel and walk to ARTS Day. This hotel is two blocks walk to the ARTS Day Pavillion on Halifax Mall and there are bikes and scooters available to rent close by. If you have a room on Tuesday night (4/22) you can leave your car at the hotel during Legislative Day activities.

No breakfast provided but there are pastries you can purchase
We have a secured a limited block of rooms at the rate of $156 plus tax, per night.

Hampton Inn & Suites Raleigh Downtown
Stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Raleigh Downtown, right in the heart of the vibrant Glenwood South Entertainment District. You can still walk to our Legislative Day locations in about 18 minutes or take the R-Line Bus. If you are leaving your car for the day there will not be an extra charge, but check back in with the front desk so they can give you a new parking key to get out.

Parking for Conference Day
Conference Day Location:
McKimmon Conference & Training Center

Parking in the front lots of the McKimmon Center is free and usually plentiful. There are three smaller parking lots on each side of the Center that are reserved for University employees. Visitors are asked to park in designated visitor parking spaces in order to avoid ticketing.

Use the R-Line Bus to get to ARTS Day
We are happy to announce that the free R-LINE bus that circles downtown Raleigh is back in operation. If you are staying at the Hampton Inn or parking in a deck that is further away from the Legislative Complex, you can take the R-LINE bus to get around.
