Strike Up the Band for NC Arts in Education Week
In celebration of NC Arts in Education Week the Magnificent Marching Machine from E.E. Smith High School in Fayetteville performed on Halifax Mall at the State Government Complex in Raleigh, which is home to the NC Department of Public Instruction, NC General Assembly, and NC Arts Council.
NC Superintendent State Superintendent of Public Instruction Catherine Truitt presented Magnificent Marching Machine Director Roosevelt Pratt with a plaque in honor of their performance and support of NC Arts in Education Week.
On Thursday, September 15 at 11:00am Corinth Holders High School Marching Band will also perform at Halifax Mall. If you are able, please come out and help celebrate #ArtsEdWeek and what these amazing students can accomplish #BecauseOfArtsEd!!
