Early Voting is currently available at sites in all 100 counties through Saturday, November 3rd. Or be sure to check out the website of your local election board to find your polling location for Tuesday, November 6th. This is a crucial election with almost the entire NC General Assembly contested, six amendments to the NC Constitution on the ballot, and several fiercely contested seats for the US House of Representatives.
The Arts North Carolina Election Portal is a great place to start so you can “vote the arts” this year. We have information about voting, ballot initiatives, and how nonprofits can engage in this election cycle. We also have candidate surveys about the arts so that you can see where your candidates for the NC General Assembly stand on the arts and arts education.
It is your right to have a voice, it is your duty to use it. Show up for the arts and vote this election.
